This work was created for a group exhibition taking place in a pedicure salon.
Swimming Flowers replaced the original room divider that showed a blown up, Zen style image.
The print shows a chaotic gathering of Japanese Koi in a feeding frenzie.
Keeping Koi has become a symbol of luxury and wealth, they are often referred to as living flowers. The big fish are valued for their patterns and colours.

Both the Koi and the original Zen image reference an eastern culture that is appropriated in the Western mindfulness and wellness sectors.
